National Golf Club (NGC) of 27 holes was established in 1994. Situated on a terrain of 920 hectares covered with pine and eucalyptus trees, it was the first golf club in Turkey conforming to the standards of EPGA (European Professional Golfers Association) allowing international golf tournaments.

The National Golf Club was rated as 42nd among the 1500 golf clubs of the Mediterranean during an evaluation made in 2000. The club was promoted to 39th among the European clubs in 2001 and in 2002. As a result of the studies conducted by The Golf Magazine it was promoted to 16th rank in the world.

In 2003 it became the 4th best golf club among the finest 100 golf clubs in the world, based on the ranking of German Journal Magazine. National Golf Club is jointly designed by David Fenerty and David Jones.

With due respect to the protection of local natural beauties, this design was realized by the American “Aquaturf’ Company, and the terrain on which the golf club is now located contains a golf course of 18 holes for the tournaments, an academic course of 9 holes, and practice fairways covering Driving Range for 40 persons. The Golf Course also offers two putting greens and a bunker & chipping practice area.

As for the National Golf Club “Club House”, there is a Restaurant-Bar, pro-shop, where special golf creations and materials are sold and hired. A golf related library, and a storey and terrace for club members only.
